This week, the Knight Prototype Fund announced eight new grantees. One of those was OpenGenderTracker, a team that wanted to find a way to track gender bias in media, based on both bylines and content. One of two case studies OpenGenderTracker conducted with their grant money was of Global Voices, the international blogging community. The Guardian’s Datablog has their findings.
